What is Inverness Kiwanis?
Inverness Kiwanis is a group of volunteers dedicated to Serving The Youth of Citrus County. We are a registered 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. We are proud to say that 100% of money raised goes to the Children of Citrus County and 100% of our members are non-paid volunteers. Inverness Kiwanis is one of the oldest clubs in Florida and was founded in 1925.
What We Do
Our focus is fundraising and working with other organizations in the community. We raise money through events such as our Sportsman's Night and Cobia Big Fish Tournament. We also sponsor and volunteer with many other local organizations including the Citrus County Education Foundation, Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Boys & Girls Club, Citrus County Blessings, Citrus County YMCA, Local Boy & Cub Scouts Clubs, and work with many clubs and schools within the Citrus County School Board.
